Dr. Dirk Kesselgruber

Dr. Dirk Kesselgruber is Chief Technology Officer, GKN Automotive. Dirk joined us in 2020 from Schaeffler AG where he was President of the Chassis systems business, covering systems for current and future mobility concepts.

Dirk began his career at BMW, before joining TRW Automotive and taking on a number of incrementally senior roles in engineering. In 2013, Dirk began the role of Senior Vice President Engineering, Global Steering at ZF Friedrichshafen AG.

Dirk holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and a PhD in Controls Engineering, both of which were obtained from the University of Duisburg, Germany.
